Description

I've already written (and drawn) about restoring aviremigian wings before. But only when they're folded. And so the question is: what do we do when they're open? So here I am with another tutorial for you all. For the full post, go here: ktboundary-smnt2000.blogspot.i…

Up - Featherless arm.
Middle - Wing: Upper View.
Down - Wing: From Below.

Red - Primaries.
Brown - Primary coverts.
Blue - Secondaries.
Light Blue - Secondary coverts.
Green - Proto-tertiaries.
Light Green - Proto-tertiary coverts.
Ochre - Under greter primary coverts.
Yellow and Olive - Greater underwing coverts.

I hope this will be helpful to you all.

Ps: Sorry for the colours' quality. Bad scanner

It's really helpful.. I have a lot of trouble imagining how the feathers physically sit on the fingers, it just seems so weird that it's all based on the middle finger.
